The Challenge...
Two combined lots at this Purchase residence were interrupted by a wetlands parcel that was subject to seasonal flooding, making it difficult for the homeowner to get from one side of their property to the other.
The Solution
With permission from the town, the wetlands were invigorated – invasive species removed and new native trees and shrubs planted. Colorful flowers and dynamic grasses were added to give interest. A gravel path was added for accessibility. Many species of birds and butterflies now call this their home.
